1. Who we are

Glow (“Glow”, “we”, “our”) is an independent product built in Stockholm, Sweden. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect via the waitlist

When you submit your email address through the waitlist form on this site, we collect:

  • Your email address.
  • The timestamp of submission.
  • Basic request metadata (IP address, user-agent) used to prevent abuse.

We use this information solely to contact you about the Glow TestFlight beta and the public iOS launch. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. What the app will collect

The Glow iOS app (when released) analyses skincare ingredients using your camera. Images used for OCR and barcode scanning are processed on-device and not uploaded. Account data (email, encrypted password, hashed session tokens) is stored securely in Neon (PostgreSQL) via Neon Auth.

4. Legal basis

We process your email under the legal basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — your record will be deleted within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, export, or erase your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Sweden, IMY).

6. Cookies & tracking

This website uses no third-party advertising cookies. We may use minimal, privacy-preserving analytics to understand aggregate traffic. No personally identifying profiles are built.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this page occasionally. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
